Great service. Great food. Friendly and funny waitress. She asked questions about Forrest Gump during our visit Trivia and held things interesting. The food was great, but a little expensive. View all feedback.
What Aurore Davis doesn't like about Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.:
The experience was cool. Everything was themed from the movie Forrest Gump. The staff and waitress was great. I had high hopes for the food. Once we got our food, everything looked great but tasted just ok. Nothing special about it. I actually had an appetizer of steamed shrimp that is not pictured. We eat a lot of seafood so my expectations are high with seafood. It was a let down. I'm sure for the average person, t... View all feedback.
Love eat here. Everything was delicious. Our appetizers, our Entrees (Shrimper's Heaven) and our drinks were all delicious and beautifully presented. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the furnishings. The Tom Hanks, Forest Gump theme is funny, but cute and somehow secretly feeling. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also did their best to accommodate the fact that we had a baby in a stroller. I would definitely eat again at this place. A little expensive, but it was worth it.
Had dinner here on holiday and was pleasantly surprised by the food quality and service. If you? re not a shrimp lover then not much here for you. Thankfully we love both seafood. The appetizer we ordered was garlic shrimp steamed in beer? amazing! Then my wife ordered Jambalaya and I ordered the Forrest surf and the lawn. I didn't expect a seafood place to be a big ribeye, but they did! The server was great, timely with refilling and checking on us. It is not cheap, but it is worth eating the prices here.
The whole thing was before place caesar salat was served on a super cooled dish. that was a nice note and I can't remember when I got the last salat on a cold dish. jambalaya was hearty with a perfect amount of kick and a full taste. presentation of children's meals on boats with jello really from the experience.
Good food and nice price. Great place to go especially when you are a Forest Gump movie fan. The staff no longer saddens the trivia questions. And the shrimps are not in the big paper cone. But it's still a great place to visit film memorabies.
Food was tasty (especially the Gumbo soup) but the floor was sticky and it took forever (and it was an early lunch so it wasn't exactly busy) to remove an item from the bill. Still, wait staff (Jenn) was cool. The movie is now dated for many visitors so the concept for the younger crowd is likely irrelevant.
