What J doesn't like about Bush's Chicken:
Came in at 9 (an hour before closing) and was first told it would be a 20min wait for tenders, no big deal. The guy goes inside then comes back out and said the cook told him it would be 45mins because he had already broken down to 1 fryer. I could understand if we came a half hour or 15 mins before closing but a full hour, really?! Felt more like a brush off so that they didn't have to serve anyone. View all feedback.

Came in at 11:20 am and order my food inside the dine in. As the person taking my order told them one of the sides was max and cheese and as the other girl that’s close to the peeped Mac in cheese in containers as she was about to grab one a roach came from the back of the machine and she hurried up and smashed it with her hands. SMH I can’t believe she did that in a heart beat. Than she went and washed her hands thinking I didn’t see that roach I can’t Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
The prices for their meals are outrageous! I like Bush's Chicken, but the quality here in Gatesville, is not equivalent to the cost nor the quantity. However, the Bush's McGregor location, is Outstanding! I have never been unsatisfied with their chicken. So, unfortunately, if I'm craving Bush's chicken, I'll drive to McGregor to get it; and have absolutely no problem paying the cost because their chicken is always worth it! It's always hot and taste fresh and I feel I get my money worth. It's a shame that I have to put gas in my vehicle and drive to another town to purchase what this city offers. I'm advocating for an additional business that serves Chicken to come to Gatesville. Perhaps a competitive business will make Gatesville's Bush's either lower their prices, or step up on the quality of the chicken they are selling to their customers. It is NOT worth their price!
