I ordered a chopped sandwich and fries at this restaurant. When I finally had the chance to open the takeout container about an hour later (I was busy), I found that the sandwich had sliced brisket instead of chopped, which was okay but not my preference. The brisket was good and tender. It wasn't the best BBQ I've ever had, but it was still good. The employees were extremely nice and friendly, and the place was very clean. I hope to stop in again in the future. I am giving it 4 stars because my order was wrong and the restaurant wasn't busy at the time.

This restaurant in Texas has the best BBQ around! You'll want to arrive early to make sure you don't miss out on their delicious offerings. We've sampled almost everything on the menu and it has all been fantastic. The Smoked Chicken, Smoked Turkey, and Brisket are all incredibly tender and full of mouth-watering flavor. I always request extra lean meat and they always deliver. Their homemade desserts are also a must-try. The customer service here is exceptional, with staff always willing to go the extra mile. Jamie Velasquez in particular stands out as a top-notch employee. Additionally, Bare Bones offers live music and events in The Bone Yard, making it a great spot for entertainment. It'd a neat place good decor and wasn't too busy for lunch. The brisket had a lot of fat on it though but it was a decent tasting brisket. The baked beans were excellent and they had great sweet tea. The macncheese was watery so that was a let down. Overall it is just not bad. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
