I've had a few times the slim one. it won't rank with the best I ever had, but it's pretty good. never overcooked, just has no smokey taste. but her home sauce is good and the atmosphere is interesting. they offer to the live music that is going on, although I wasn't there. the staff was very friendly and had no problem yet. What Anastasia Runolfsdottir doesn't like about Bare Bones Bbq:
The universal comment around the table was that everything was very dry. I had the pork and the chicken and others had their brisket. Overall the flavor was kind of unremarkable in bland but completely edible and satisying. The sides were standard and all were good. I had their coleslaw which was unique in that it contains cilantro, so that may not be for everyone. I also had their dirty rice, which was just regular... View all feedback.

We've been going here for several years. The pork tenderloin sandwich was a favorite but it's been discontinued. The pulled pork sandwich was always very good but recently the quantity and quality hasn't been good. To top it off, the last time we were there, they charged almost 10% additional for using a card. Times are tough out there for everyone but with poor quality and add on fees, we won't be back.
We waited about 20 min. The order was messed up.when we got home we had sausage, ribs and chopped brisket which we did not ask for. We wanted sliced brisket. And besides the potato salad and coleslaw we only received half of the order of beans. We called and the manager told us that this is what we ordered. We just moved here but needless to say we will not be going back if this is how you treat your older Veteran's...

I had their coleslaw which was unique in that it contains cilantro, so that may not be for everyone. I also had their dirty rice, which was just regular rice with barely any spice on it. I'm spoiled as I routinely eat Kansas City BBQ. The place has a lot of ambience and the service was excellent and all of the workers were extremely nice.
Stopped by there on the way thru town and enjoyed the brisket rueben. IT WAS AWESOME. You must try it.
