Conveniently situated on the A694, right next to the Derwent Walk Country Park, we’re just a short drive from Rowlands Gill, Whickham, and the heart of Newcastle. Don’t miss our special Greek Nights held monthly, where you can enjoy an evening filled with delicious Greek food, live music, and dancing—booking is essential! For families, our children’s menu offers any pizza, pasta, or chicken nuggets and chips for just £4.95, including free ice cream. Relax and unwind in The Lounge at Petros, our brand new cocktail bar located on the first floor above the main restaurant. We also offer a Happy Hour Monday to Thursday from 12 to 6:30 pm and Friday and Saturday from 12 to 5 pm, with great deals available. My wife and I had a fantastic meal. The pasta special with seafood was delicious. The portion sizes were just right and the staff was friendly and attentive.
This restaurant is the perfect place to visit, especially on a rainy day in the North East. We were greeted warmly by the server who helped us with our menu choices. The food was amazing and full of flavor. I loved the chicken arrabiata, while my Dad enjoyed the kleftiko, which looked delicious. We also had desserts that were generous in size and incredibly delicious.
The Greek food at this restaurant is pretty good, but there seems to be an issue with the water and plumbing, as there is a slight sewage smell when you enter. However, the restaurant is still nice and offers a variety of Greek and British dishes.

Came here for Sunday dinner and thought the worst when the place was quiet. Genuinely can’t fathom why on reflection. Food was incredible, two-course meal for £12 which included potato skins and a beef Sunday dinner represented more than just excellent value for money. Highly recommend it. Just try it for yourself. We’ll be back. Cheers.
