Today's lunch was pleasant and quiet, as it was 11:45, so there weren't many people in the restaurant. The meals had good portions and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I requested extra napkins and they were happy to provide them. The prices were reasonable, but the only issue was that the salt was wet. However, I would still return as I tend to use a lot of salt anyway, and I could have easily asked for a new salt shaker. I have a group of six friends who celebrate each other's birthdays by having lunch together, and I will definitely recommend this restaurant for our next celebration.
This was my first visit to Pacos, I had heard great things about Gibside Hotel from friends so I decided to give it a try. It was a fantastic experience with delicious food, excellent service, and great drinks. I would highly recommend it, 10/10.
We made a reservation here for a family meal with about 25 people, and we were very well taken care of by the staff and management. The meals were all excellent as well.
What a freindly place the staff were very helpful The food was excellent the wine list had every thing you wanted and the prices were fitting of a restaurant to this standard
Over the years we have visited the restaurant on numerous occasions and had our Christmas meal last year and never been disappointed, however this is our first visit since Pacos departure and we were very surprised in the deteration of the food. We were not asked by any member of staff if the meal was satisfactory both my wife and I were very unhappy, you could actually slice my mashed potato the rest was tasteless.
