I gave my friend a fish curry, not knowing she had a fish allergy. When I informed the staff, they apologized but were dismissive and had a terrible attitude. They claimed it was the wrong table and didn't take the situation seriously. They overcharged me, so I recommend avoiding this restaurant.
Came here for fathers day with my family. The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. We were seated immediately and our drinks order was taken. Our food arrived shortly after, we ordered chicken tikka starters followed by mains of chicken dupiaza x2 and chicken bhuna with chips, rice and naan. All food was cooked to perfection and tasted beautiful! Curries were full of flavour and prices were reasonable for both food and drinks. Can't wait to return!
Just got back from paddling for 6 days around Scottish islands and all I could think about was the food from this place... just had best curry ever accept no substitute!!
We usually enjoy the food at this restaurant. However, we were let down by their new weekend buffet where you can eat as much as you want for £15 per person. The food was cold, and it's understandable that it can be challenging to keep food warm in a buffet setting. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
1st time here to a place that has been on the Fell for a long time. It's Monsun not Monsoon. Quiet for a Friday night. The food was excellent and service good too. My main course of Chicken Tikka Jall Merchi was hot and spicy as described! The place is a bit tatty around the edges, especially the carpet which is ready for the skip. So a few pounds spent might get a few more through the door.
