Kfc - Gateshead
Kfc
Description
Service at this KFC location was a disaster, with a rude manager and slow food delivery. Another customer experienced rowdy teenagers without any staff intervention. Long waits and tasteless food left diners disappointed and vowing to never return. The lack of customer service and slow service further added to the negative experiences. It's clear that improvements are needed in both service and management at this particular branch of KFC.

Both the service and the food were equally terrible. It took me a frustrating 10 minutes to place my order because the cashier had difficulty understanding me and spoke poor English. Despite her best efforts, my order was still wrong. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at any KFC. If they want to stay in business, they need to reevaluate every aspect of the customer experience.
The service at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. The orders were backed up and our food got cold while we waited. I ordered tea but they claimed I hadn't. Then, a woman named Lauren started being rude to me when I asked for the manager. It turns out she was the manager and she waved me off in front of everyone. Four other customers agreed that her behavior was disgraceful. I didn't even end up with the drink I paid for. KFC should be ashamed for hiring a manager with such poor customer service skills. I will never be returning to this location.
Ordered food via screens to be greeted by a member of staff 5 minutes later brandishing a cloth and bottle saying you ordered wot dink .And I mean wot dink meaning hot drink I replied yes to be told we have no hot drinks .then was ushered to the front to then have to wait another 5 minutes to obtain a refund do not use this KFC never have what you order and staff are so not interested in the customer it is a joke .Go to McDonald's better class of service
My experience at this restaurant was terrible. I left without any food because the staff took nearly 10 minutes just to acknowledge me at the register. I waited at the front desk to place my order, as it was slow and I usually use the self-service machine. I was completely ignored while two women packed up a takeout order. As a full-time waitress myself, I know how important customer service is and how easy it can be to provide good service, such as actually serving your customers. After I left to wait with my boyfriend, who had ordered on the screen, the elderly woman behind me still went unnoticed for another 5 minutes. She had to ask one of the staff members to serve her, and was met with a careless and patronizing response of "she will when she is ready, darling." It was an awful experience, especially considering how quiet it was in the restaurant. The staff was lazy, had a bad attitude, and didn't even meet the bare minimum of customer service.
