I was very pleased with my visit here. It is a small, welcoming cafe which is clean and pleasant. It is very good for coffee, snacks and casual foods. There is quite an extensive menu of breakfast items, sandwiches, toasties, cakes etc. The coffee was very good and scone excellent. Prices are very reasonable and the welcome is very friendly. Came here for my lunch with my mother after my grandparents (who used to be regular customers) raved about it. Just unsure why we didn't come sooner! Ordered 2 delicious baguettes, salad and coffees and the prices were incredible. Already excited to return! View all feedback.
Called while in gateshead just for a coffee but a couple sitting at a nearby table were tucking in to good sized portions of corned beef pie looked delicious! My coffee was good, hot and cheap.
Our first visit and wont be our last. I had the corned beef and potato pie (of course with mato sauce) a good portion with no frills and very tasty. Good tea and coffee too.
This is a cozy family-owned cafe where all the food is made to order. They offer a great selection on their menu, including breakfast, homemade pies, toasties, sandwiches, cakes, and a wide variety of drinks at affordable prices.
I love this place, it has just recently been taken over and it's ideal for a tea (or coffee) break when shopping. Love the cakes and scones all home made.
Visited here for breakfast with my lad. This coffee shop sells the weakest coffee. It doesn't even provide you with fresh milk just a container full of UHT sachets. I ordered breakfast which was okay but whilst waiting heard the microwave ping many times. Normally go to Heaton for breakfast as there is no shortage of choice. Hopefully this isn't the best gateshead has to offer
