Hob-nob Drive In - Gate City

Everyone should experience this place. excellent in any category. they are a long time local favorite and even mentioned in the movie big stone gap. they have limited seating opportunities because they are small and very popular, but if they simply sit in their car, a car hit will come to them and take their order. I ask them to try this place and then go up the road and see the natural tunnel state park and/or the daniel boone heritage trail. park: you can stay in your car and they will come to you. please give the car hop a generous tipp.

We ate in the car because it was overcrowded. but it was worth waiting! They even carried it out when it was finished. the meat is delicious! the milkshakes took me back in the time when everything was homemade. They've been there for years. if they are close, try it! Food: 5/5

This is the BEST burger, fries and Ice Cream place!!! We came at 2pm on a Friday afternoon and the place was packed! Nothing but smiles from the customers and servers alike! After tasting our food, I completely understand why. The burgers are hand-shaped and perfectly cooked. Dipping the crunchy curly fries in the best, silky smooth chocolate shake was the best sweet and salty yumminess I've had in a long time! And to top it all off, their prices are affordable and their staff is as sweet and friendly as they come. Well done Hob-Nob! Definitely worth the 30 minute drive to come back!

Great tasting food with lots of options on the menu. The service was outstanding and everyone was very polite and everything was correct. One of the best tasting cheeseburgers I have ever had and the onion rings are perfect! Thanks so much for the great food and service, I will be back again!
