Waffle House - Gastonia

If I could give more than a five star rating I definitely would. This is hands down the best Waffle House I have ever ate at. Very clean. There were only 3 employees, two cooks and a waitress named Kadaejah and they killed it. The place was packed with customers. They got our order completely right and everything was very fresh. If I lived in this area I would eat here at least once a week.

Waffle house is not known to be the cleanest place in town, but this place was right beside of a Cracker Barrel and we initially thought we were going to eat at Cracker Barrel but instead we changed our mind after Cracker Barrel had a 25 minute wait. So we went to waffle house and was so impressed by Miss Jen and her speed and the freshness of the food and it tasted so good and Miss Jen was so sweet. We still haven’t gotten a message from Cracker Barrel saying that our seat is ready and we’re back on the road again

Even though short staffed, the breakfast was hot and delicious. The hostess and server were friendly and accommodating, apologizing for the wait. The place was super busy being at this location, but well worth the wait! The jukebox was rocking with R&B and Motown. Loved it!

Originally posted 2017: There is a woman that does her best to seat people during a wait but she seems against the idea of cleaning tables. Food is the same you would expect from any Waffle House. I've always found the cooks are the difference between good food and okay food at the Waffle House. 2022 update: I have a daughter now that loves to eat here so I take her from time to time. Servers are usually friendly to us and it hasn't been overcrowded the last few times we've visited.

I love this place they are so helpful not only to their staff but also to the community... people go through hard times and waffle house was and has been there and I hope will continue to be there for me if I ever want to be an all star!!
