Lotus Eatery - Gastonia

We decided here several times dinner, it was perfect to host our wedding dinner. Pat was very, very helpful! She kept us in every way! We had an appetizer table and decided to give our guests three options ribeye, salmon and filled chicken. Everything was delicious! We are prepared for food and service! Upstairs private rooms are perfect for events. We had an open bar and all enjoyed their drinks. I recommend hosting your next event or just coming for dinner! You will not be disappointed!!!

I'm not sure this restaurant is for all people. I and my company were sitting at a table for 20 minutes when the OWNER sat at the bar, which involved in a wonderful conversation when he watched his employees, ignored the service. We noticed that at the time there were no more than 11 people eating in the restaurant, and not even an employee came by to even recognize us. When we left, we asked an employee who was the manager, and he only advised the owner (ALLN). At this point Allen looked directly at us to never remove from the bar to correct himself as a leader or professional entrepreneur. My first experience was beautiful as I am the gentleman who gave the manager and bar a new mix drink with Skrewball. I really lost my taste, depending on this experience. My advice for people of color would be careful if you choose to dinate in this place.

The food and service here is phenomenal! Pat and all others are super friendly and attentive! Best shrimps and grits I had. Bartender was great! Great atmosphere!

The food was fine. The staff was a bit away. Ordered a fairly basic mixed drink and it tasted like something wrong with it. Your answer was to bring the bottle and show me. Two attempts and I went to another drink. Was?t one thing until a week later when I realized that this exact thing happened when I was there a few years ago. Are you sure?re constantly trying to improve, and for some it probably a fantastic place because of its location?.but I will happen next time.

We took my mother out to eat here to have a nice dinner over the Fourth of July weekend. They possibly had the best Sushi I have tasted, but when my wife's steak was overcooked, three people came to our table at separate times and asked to see it as if she were lying about the situation to get a free meal when at no time did we ever ask for a discount. We never even sent it back to the kitchen, and were only pointing it out to our waitress since initially she was so positive that the cooks get every steak perfect! This is why she ordered it the way she did, due to the waitresses recommendation, and after this ordeal, I am not sure that we would visit again.
