Garrison Cafe
Garrison Cafe
Description
This Italian eatery boasts a charming ambiance and serves some of the best wood-fired pizza in the area, praised for its thin, crispy crust and robust flavors. However, customer service experiences vary, with reports of rudeness from staff and issues such as undercooked food. While the pizza shines, other menu items fail to impress, and cleanliness concerns have been raised. Diners can expect a casual setting, but tensions over service suggest improvements are needed for a more satisfying culinary experience.

I always enjoy coming here for lunch and spending time with friends. The weather was beautiful, and the food was excellent!
This Italian restaurant offers fresh and delicious pizza along with a variety of other dishes. I did try a rather unusual soup (spinach and egg), which is why I'm giving it 4 stars.
This place is terrible! When I inquired whether a certain soup was gluten-free, I received a very rude response. It seems that allergies are not a concern for him, and he insists he doesn't use flour in his soup. Seriously?! This person is unfit for working in food service! Unsurprisingly, I decided not to have lunch there.
I stopped by for lunch and ordered a meatball sub. When I sat down, I noticed that the bread was incredibly fresh, and I was initially enjoying my meal. However, I quickly realized that the meatballs were undercooked—so raw that I had to dash outside to vomit. When I returned to inform the staff, the young man behind the counter seemed to think I was just trying to score a free meal, which was really offensive. The meatballs were clearly raw; I wouldn’t have thrown up for no reason. Thankfully, an older gentleman, a nice Italian cook, stepped in and handled the situation well. He apologized and helped deescalate things. I still felt upset, though, as it was frustrating to be treated as if I was lying. Up until that point, the atmosphere had been great.
