My visit today was pleasant. I was greeted when I entered. The cashier took the time to explain menu items and offered items. Very friendly. I ordered oxtails, rice and peas, beef patties, and fried plantain. My only complaint is that the plantain wastoo soft. I like mine fried hard. They were nice and sweet tho. Oxtails were plenty and tasty. Beef patties were delicious!!Rice and peas were enough to compliment meat.... View all feedback.
What rod moe doesn't like about Reggae Wings And Tings:
First and last time ordering from this establishment. Cabbage was more like cole slaw and the Mac Cheese was not good either. Oxtails tasted as bland as the Mac Cheese. If you are looking for good Jamaican food, please do not waste your money at Wings Tings in Garland Tx. View all feedback.
So today was my first time here. I had the jerk chicken, mac and cheese and cabbage. The chicken was flavored great but it was cold. The mac was warm and eatable and the cabbage should be called slaw, because that's the taste it lean towards. I spent $50on two plates, 2 rum cakes that was hard and over powered and was thick, more like a rum bread, 2 pound cheese cakes thatdidn't taste like cheese but it's eatable and 2 drinks. I really thought I found another good eat from previous reviews butthat was entirely too much money to waste. My sis didn't even eat her plate. She ordered hers with dumplings and it was justdeep friend dough that was burnt. Thanks for the experience but you've lost a customer.

This will be my first and last time ordering from this restaurant. The cabbage tasted more like coleslaw, and the mac and cheese was disappointing as well. The oxtails were just as bland as the mac and cheese. If you're seeking authentic Jamaican food, I recommend you avoid Wings Tings in Garland, TX. It's not worth your money.
The service was excellent, but the food left much to be desired. The chicken was extremely spicy—if that's your preference, you'll love it—but the rice was quite dull and overcooked. Upon our arrival, we noticed an older gentleman lounging near the entrance, savoring his drink. I'm not sure if he was the owner or a family member, but he was delightful and offered engaging conversation while we awaited our meals. The gentleman who served us was also great and provided wonderful service. I would definitely return for the social atmosphere, but not for the food, as that’s just my personal taste.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and it came highly recommended by a friend. I received a warm welcome upon arrival. I ordered the stew chicken plate, and I have to say, the food was absolutely delicious! The peas and rice were spot on, especially the stew chicken. This is what real, authentic Caribbean food should taste like. I've tried several other Island restaurants in the Dallas area, including Aldeeze, Murphy's Mansion, Island Spot, Jamaican Gate, and Elane's Kitchen, but "Reggae Wings Tings" is by far my favorite. Plus, they offer generous portions for the price. I will definitely be returning!
