I've never seen the chefs smoking in the kitchen, so I can't speak to that. The place itself may not be beautiful, but it doesn't need to be. My friends and I visit every month and always have a great time. I’m even hosting a dinner party for 50-60 people there in November! (I plan to bring my own wine; what they offer is fine, but I'm looking forward to introducing my friends to Hamdog's food. It's not an everyday spot, but it’s definitely a treat. Thanks for listening!
Footnote: I had my party at Hamdogs on November 20, 2009. It was fabulous! The restaurant staff perfectly decorated the tables and cared for my 55 guests who visited them. Everyone enjoyed their steak, shrimp, pork chops, ribbed and salmon. We all had a great time. Thank you. Hamdogs!
