Tried stopping by recently had an issue from the moment I approached the drive thru speaker when it became my turn to order. The female employee who was working drive thru tried taking my order, but it sounded so muffled could hear this screeching, high pitched, awful noise in the background that was ridiculously loud. I tried to order, but next thing you know, she cuts me off I heard her tell her coworker to shut off the latte machine wait to finish making the drink, so that she could hear me. Um...here's an idea, walk a bit further away from whomever is making the latte, so that you can actually hear the screeching won't come over the speaker blast customer's ear drums out. Anyhow, I placed my order it only consisted of 2 beverages, a large iced pumpkin coffee medium pumpkin cold brew. Believe it or not, even with the machine now off, she still couldn't hear me apparently made me repeat my small order. I did, then she repeated it back to me incorrectly. I ordered the cold brew with cream/sugar, the large iced was extra/extra, but I guess this was just too difficult for her to handle. She then tells me to pull up without giving a total when I get to the window, she hands me the cold brew, which had no foam or cinnamon as it usually does the large iced coffee, which was loaded with a ridiculous amount of UNMELTED sugar all stuck to the very bottom of the cup. Although I did request extra/extra, this was still WAY too much sugar. I swear, she must've put about 10 or more in it! I have been employed by Dunkin' myself years ago we were always taught by our manager to melt the sugar for each every iced coffee we made, unless a customer requests that we don't. Horrible service, disappointing experience, low quality of beverages, rude employees. P.S. When making iced coffee, melt the sugar from now on! You'll have much happier customers less complaints! It's really not that hard or time consuming. You simply put the requested amount of sugar in the cup before anything else, add a small splash of hot coffee to it, then swirl it around by moving the cup so that it dissolves, then add the desired amount of cream, ice, then cold coffee to it. It's really not that difficult you'll make a much better coffee! Even for those who like extra sugar, trust me, nobody wants to sip a huge mouthful of it through their straw. If customers are paying $3+ for iced coffee, you can at least try to make them happy by making it correctly! FYI, cold brews contain foam on top, unless they specifically ask for it without!

When I finally placed my order for two beverages—a large iced pumpkin coffee and a medium pumpkin cold brew—I still had trouble. Even with the machine turned off, she struggled to hear me and made me repeat my simple order. However, she still got it wrong. I specifically ordered the cold brew with cream and sugar and the large iced coffee with extra sugar, but it seemed to be too much for her to handle. She then told me to pull up without giving me a total. At the window, she handed me the cold brew, which was missing the usual foam and cinnamon, and the large iced coffee was filled with an excessive amount of unmelted sugar stuck at the bottom of the cup. Even though I requested extra sugar, this was far too much—there must have been about ten packets in there! Having worked at Dunkin' myself years ago, I recall our manager always emphasizing the importance of melting the sugar in iced coffee unless requested otherwise. The service was terrible, the experience was disappointing, and the quality of the beverages was low. P.S. Please remember to melt the sugar when making iced coffee! It's a simple step that leads to happier customers and fewer complaints. It’s not hard or time-consuming; just mix in the right amount of sugar and you’re good to go!
