We like a lot going out. Last night we visited this delicious place which friends recommended to us. We passed a lovely experience there with fine cooking and a well-trained team and a great cook. We came to try this place after watching the old school movie, Tampopo. Our expectations weren 't high so they met it, but unfortunately, they did not exceed it. Their ramen was very mediocre, didn 't taste like the broth was cooked the traditional way. It just tasted like seasoned hot water. The noodle was average as well. Pretty good portions and the quality is not bad. Got chicken bento and a few rolls. The dressing for the salad is actually good. Our orders came with miso soup. Major plus: when ordering off-peak hours, they prepared the food super quick... I?d say it?d be ready in less than 15 minutes! Would not recommend the tempura calamari though, it wasn?t bad but not the best.
Disappointed again with the Sea Weed Salad. When I called in to order my food today I told the waiter to make sure that the lettuce with the Sea Weed Salad to be fresh because last time it was wilted. Guess what? It happened again. On top it looks nice and fresh but once you dig in it's bad. How are we supposed to enjoy a salad when it's looks bad.
This place is a true gem, and I always leave satisfied. The staff is very attentive, which I really appreciate. The food quality is consistently excellent. They did remove their lunch specials, which many people enjoyed, but I understand that sometimes business decisions have to be made. I still continue to visit. My favorites are the chicken miso ramen, the sun-kissed roll (a sushi roll without rice), and the sesame chicken. Everything is delicious!
Outstanding food, friendly staff, and a consistently wonderful atmosphere. Their prices are reasonable, and the quality of the food is excellent. Great job!
The restaurant offers a distinctive atmosphere and serves delicious dishes. The baby lobster roll is the best I've ever had!
