Been coming here more than 20 years. It's a bit run down now. The good thing is you don't need to wait for yiur seat any more. Still good for a little dim sum fix every once in a while. View all feedback.
What M RO doesn't like about Sea Empress Seafood:
This is a Chinese seafood restaurant that has been around for a long time. The building itself is old, so the store smelled like a toilet. The food is deliciousI wish they had brought more plates, but they won't bring them unless I tell them, so it's a shame. I want you to value the taste. It seems like they are busy on weekdays and close before 9 o'clock. View all feedback.
I had forgotten just how delicious everything is here! Yum! As for vegetarian options, I had to inquire whether certain items contained pork, were vegetarian, or only included shrimp.
The restaurant had plenty of seating, and since it was a weekday lunch, the atmosphere felt relaxed. The food was delicious, and the staff were very attentive and kind.
It was a delightful experience! We enjoyed everything we could eat and took the leftovers home in a box.
All the reviews were for dim sum and they were excellent. We went for dinner. The place was empty. The servers were bored and not very helpful. The manager finally came over and was friendly and helpful. The food was good but small plates. The bathroom smelled like an outhouse. I will try the din sum next time.
Dim sum has gotten crazy expensive the last few years for ok (not spectacular) food. 2 people, over $50 for breakfast/brunch
