Actually really liked the horchata that my girlfriend got from this place. It was almost worth the price of $17 plus tip for two of them. They're massive as you can see from this photo, and their flavor is distinct from Mexican horchata. It just honestly feels like the price was a tad high. $14 for both of these would be a little bit more understandable. Regardless, high quality is high quality and it is appreciated. I ordered through uber eats Ordered 2tamales de elote (did not receive) had ordered 4 pupusas de queso and chicharron but got 1 cheese (tasty but not an option on uber eats) and 3 cheese and beans (deff not a fan) also ordered 5revueltas and these were delicious, ordered Yuka frita didn't come crispy due to distance n the chicharron was ok they were mostly chewy fat pieces..curtido and salsa were also yummy. I wanted to this the pupusas hear and was excited to check out a new spot to eat out here in Gardena.. but as soon as I walk in.. in 30 secs I had to walk out quick. A gentleman was paying and you can tell he was somewhat intoxicated (buzzing hard) and I notice and also listening when he pay with his card... a lady (cashier) and some other guy that came from the bar in the back was talking to the buzzed up guy and when he got charge and saw the receipt.. he ask not once, not twice but three tike (you cam see the lady was trying to ignore him and at the same time talk to him like being all cool like a female does.. so he ask why he got charged $2 more on a $5 bill.. lady said its thr credit card charge (he had a debit) and the other guy said the bar and the front restaurant have to spilt that money... so just hearing that made me feel they doing some type of scam so I had to walk away quick... made me not trust those two invidual. I know know what I saw and heard plus im street smart to see what's happening. So can't give you no food review but I felt some shady situation was happening had to move on quick. Just a friendly heads up.
The food here is amazing and the people as well. They have the best pupusas in town (confirmed by Salvadorian co-worker) in regards to the comment about the cashier being rude I was that customer and it simply not true the people here are so nice; highly recommend!!
Great delivery breakfast and lunch. Tastes like home cooking, with lots of love and flavor.
I only ever get food from here delivered. The pupusas and plantains are so good! They give a great amount of crema and beans with the plantains so I always have enough for the pupusas too. This place is so affordable I will definitely be ordering again and again
Service was good. Very amicable people when i ordered take out in the late afternoon. The restaurant is the front in the back there's billiards beer. You get a kinda homey feel. Pupusas are OK, rather small TBH. Not too greasy though. Paid $20 for 6 pupusas which isn't bad just wish they were a little thicker. Also, the salsa curtido is not good.
