Meiji Tofu - Gardena

We were surprised to discover that Meiji Tofu does not prepare their own fried tofu (Age Tofu). Instead, they supplied us with Age Tofu made by Shirakiku, which contains a bioengineered food ingredient. This left us feeling quite bewildered, so we reached out via email for clarification, but received no response. It makes us question what else might not be genuine. A "Tofu master"? Really?

It's just a small stall, but they serve some incredible tofu! I ordered their supreme tofu, and it was so silky, smooth, and creamy. I only wish it were closer to LA so I could visit more often.

My friend suggested that I try the tofu, so I ordered the supreme tofu with peanut soup. It was absolutely delicious!

My Saturday morning ritual starts here! There's no other place or brand I'd buy tofu from except Meiji. The tofu is so delicious it's perfect. I really enjoy the kumidashi and soft tofu most for soups and dessert.

Woah...some of the best tofu and soy milk ever. I?m in shock right now, it?s good stuff. Please give them a try!! I was able to make a latte with the soy milk sold here. You are able to micro foam the milk, giving you that latte texture everyone looks for.Then I made a pan fried tofu dish with a honey sriracha sauce, it was so damn good. I topped this tofu on top of steamed rice,just pure perfection. The options are endless in what you can do with this tofu. Meiji tofu has this one of a kind of flavorthat I can?t describe, it?s not like store bought tofu at all. The flavor is so fresh and unique that you just need to try itout for yourself. Go now!!
