What Manny Balcazar doesn't like about El Rocoto:
This has been one of my favorite Peruvian restaurants, but lately the quality has decreased and the prices do not match the quality of the food. Today my wife and I ordered some tuna ceviche and the tuna was soggy with a dark color and the itdefinitely did not fresh..look at the picture below does this look like a raw tuna you would eat? Saturday I have the Lomo Saltado which is a Tenderloin Angus Steak. You can choose a different meat of the Lomo Saltado like Chicken or Seafood. And I enjoy it. I also have some of the appetizers Mixto Criollo which is a Cold Seafood and Papa Huancainawhich is a Potato and Feta Cheese Sauce which is really delicious. So I think the first time I came here was with my mom and dadand the first meal I have was Tallarin Verde which is a Pesto Spaghetti and Chicken but you can also choose beef. So this isgood place for a High Quality for Peruvian Food.
Peruvian cuisine is a fusion of European, Asian, African, and native ingredients. The explosion of flavors in any dish is what makes it so palatable. Presentation is outstanding and the quality of ingredients used are at the highest levels. Great serviceand great value. Highly recommended.
This used to be one of my favorite Peruvian restaurants, but I've noticed a decline in quality lately, and the prices no longer reflect the food’s quality. Today, my wife and I ordered tuna ceviche, and the tuna was soggy, dark in color, and definitely didn’t taste fresh. Just take a look at the picture below—does this look like raw tuna you would want to eat?
The food and service were outstanding! We enjoyed everything we tasted, particularly the tallarín verde. We'll definitely be returning!
The Peruvian food here is outstanding—definitely not a chain restaurant, and it really shows. The service is excellent, and they cater to both Spanish and English speakers. Prices are reasonable considering the generous portion sizes. I can’t recall the exact name of the dish, but the steak was unbelievably delicious. This place is a must-visit! They also serve lunch.
