Coco's Tacos - Gardena

The service was great, even though I carried out. I had the birria burrito with spicy sauce, and it was ok. A lot of meat, but it could have been seasoned better. It just needed more. Same for salsa that came with the chips. The homemade horchata was superb.

I ordered the enchilada plate thinking it was cheese enchiladas since there were no meat options listed on the site. It was actually a chicken enchilada. I don't eat meat so I threw it away after biting into it. It's advertised as a plate. Usually plates come with sides, this had no sides, not even chips and salsa.

If you like homemade tortillas, delicious street like tacos and friendly service .... find this spot and GO! We randomly drove by a week ago, pulled it up on YELP and gave it a try and we are soooo glad we did! We've been back 3x already. Food is consistent every time! This is a small place in a strip mall (parking can be tight but you can find street parking), appears to be family run (not 100% sure) but everyone has been so very friendly and courteous. We have enjoyed the carne asada, chicken, carnitas and pastor tacos along with the carne asada burrito. All very good. If your in the area, definitely stop in and give it a try!

The food here is wonderfully authentic and homemade. The tacos, rice and beans, and burritos are all delicious. The tortillas are made from scratch!
