Baos Hog - Garden Grove

Really great little hole in the wall in Garden Grove by Brookhurst, really close to the 22 Freeway for easy access. The parking lot is a little crazy and the people drive right next to the store so be careful when you go out of the curb! The food is really fantastic. Fresh made, very large, fluffy bao and huge portions on the fillings. We went two days in a row because we were so impressed on the first day. The girl who helped us first visit was amazingly friendly. The boy the next day not so much, he also got our order wrong, but you can really get nothing bad here, so we were not so disturbed even though they forget that the one thing I believed most. Our favorites: Duck Bao, the $4.50, but huge pieces of duck, so worth the money; Boss Hog Fries (selection between pork or beef, comes with sauces, Zilantro, and onions), flower friars (you should get 12 orders from them, so no one fights or dreams about them); Fish Bao. In any case, we'll eat here.

I don't know if you can beat this restaurant at the price. I have a Duck Bao and somehow it was just $3,50. It was great for the price. The service was so incredibly fast and the staff were all friendly. I really don't know how they made it so cheap and yet so tasty. I also got a Vietnamese Iced Coffee that was amazing. Watch this place safely!

This was a great find in a cool little part of town. The food was excellent. We searched 'best steamed buns in L.A. ' and this is where Google maps brought us. It was totally right. The place is a modern little bun shop with good drink options. We got the Duck and the two Pork options. Would recommend all of them highly.

Unbelievable from the bungalows here. Kinda feel good and healthy for some reason lol. Will definitely come back to try everything else

No waiting and fast service on a Saturday afternoon. The food looked and tasted great! Service was a phenomenon! Each duck was provided with various sauces, Bolsa/Heo Quay Bao and Duck Bao and Char Siu Bao and Boss Bao were delicious! Look at Baos Hog when you're in the area!
