The Hideaway Cafe is truly a hidden gem. I worked in the Verizon building across the street, and even though there is a cafeteria in the building, the Hideaway Cafe was my place of choice. The owners and employees are great people, and they work hard at providing excellent food, and darn good prices and portions. My experience here was not good. Ana there is very rude. I ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches she forgot to put mayonnaise in the bag. It was their error so I walked there to pick it up. I asked the woman her name and as I was writing it down on a piece of paper she snatched it out of my hand . The reason I wanted her name is because I wanted to make a complaint. This woman is Ana the one who takes the orders. I never been anywhere where an employee has snatched something out of my hand the paper ripped and she also hurt my finger. This place is absolutely disgusting.
I've had breakfast and lunch here every day for the last 3 weeks and I haven't been disappointed! The meals and hospitality makes you feel at home. The owners are very kind and never fail to make my day.
