We are from out of town and spent the weekend at the beach. We came in for dinner Saturday night with 4 adults and 2 kids. The service we received from Ashley was impeccable!!! Every time I go to this location I ask for my wings to be fried hard and they are never fried hard and it’s only this location that does that. I always call back and tell them but i be on my lunch breaks so i have to get back to work and i can never go back up there. I’m sick of this!!! Need to do better !! View all feedback.

The place was dated, the waitress was not very attentive, my wife and I both got the stake hamburger. It was flavorless and tough. Parking: Parking is easy in easy out
I was very disappointed about this visit today. I have not visited a Carey Hilliards in 18 years. Walked into the restaurant, and apparently, a group of individuals who worked there was having some kind of lunch or break at the bar. No greeting. The hostess finally came around and seated us. Order wings, which was the only item there we enjoyed. The fish batter had no seasoning and had fried tilapia with bland batter. The flounder my mom had was just as bland. No seasoning on the fries, the macaroni cheese, string beans. The potatoes salad was entirely too sweet. I think the biggest disappointment was the hushpuppies, one of our favorite things to eat. Smh. The waitress lacks attentiveness, no kind of personality, just as bland as the food there. I complained about the taste of the hushpuppies, and she looked at me like a deer in headlights. I then asked for the manager, who was a woman, and she too lacked personality. She took off one of the hushpuppies I paid for. I only wanted to replace my side with another one. She told me they could only offer me a toast to replace it. This experience was a waste of time for me. First and last time. The manager never told me her name. The waitress never told me her name, I got her name off the receipt (Shania). This was 4:00-4:48pm. Whoever was the manager on duty during this time was who I spoke with. Paid $67.36 and was still hungry. Went to another restaurant, paid less, and got better tasting food and customer service. If I could give this place a half star, I would. To anyone trying to eat here, go to another location. Pictured below is the unseasoned food that I paid for and left on the table. Looks pretty but tastes bland.
So my girlfriend and I visited this location the other day, and ive just been waiting to get my refund from our meal at this location we had been charged double on our original ticket, 4 piece chicken fingers and a kids chicken fingers, 2 drinks and we only got one and a water, and half our wings were super pink and raw. And then when we had the manager try to help us resolve the ticket, he charged us an additional $29.90 on a second charge, over the $40.58 of the original ticket. She discarded the itemized receipt super fast so we couldnt see what was on it, and my girlfriend had to have them reprint it, because it was super unusual to have a $40+ ticket, from items on the menu that did not equal that amount. Saying that it will just fall off at the end of the night without giving any sort of refund receipt stating that a balance was to be refunded. our waitress was also, soo out of it and horribly spacy. She had to come ask us 4 times what we had ordered, instead of just writing things down. This took place On 8/23/24 at 3:18pm receipt timestamp . I was just going to wait until I saw that go back to my card before I finished/changing my review. :
Just had the worst experience out of any Carey Hilliard's in Savannah in all of my 36 years of living and dining here. We did get our drinks and our order taken promptly, but I feel those are the only two positives about our visit. After having my plate roughly ten minutes, with no sign of my husband's meal, or our server, I went to the counter to ask about both his missing meal, and our silverware we never received. At that point our server reappears and the manager informed her my husband's food had been sitting at least 5 minutes. Of course, by that time, his food was cold. We never got refills. The whole meal was a mess so we decided to go somewhere else instead of ordering our normal two to go meals for family at home. Most definitely will not be returning to this location anytime soon.
