Contribute Feedback What Friho doesn't like about The Church Gent:
Food itself was okay. Service, on the other hand, was severely below par: everything was delayed, aperitif glasses were never cleared, water and wine only received after the 2nd dish (while we had ordered this hall when we received the snacks, and had asked the waiter about this several times) . Considering the price you expect more for your money. View all feedback.
Recently had a very decent three course meal here. The location is great, a converted church with lots of greenery and beautiful lighting!
Nice location and tasty mocktails but the bartender was looking at the course and that clearly had priority, he even forgot that we had paid and came running after us when we were already on the street to ask if we had paid?? Where does he get it from? Two ladies who also wanted to drink something even just left it when they didn't get a card after 10 minutes while no one else was sitting there. He better close the case if he wants to watch sports.
Good reception good staff Service: Dine in Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Long waiting times. Arrived at 7:30 PM and didn't receive our first dish until around 9 PM. Food was tasty but not really worth the long waiting times and price
The staff is in general very polite and helpfull. The terrace is nice and the drinks are very good, the service was however a bit chaotic at the time. The resto has a beautifull interior and setting. The vegan menu has too simular herbs, making a lot of simular tasts, the regular menu is better but was also a bit disappointing, it is over-enginered, losing the cohesion in taste.
