Cozy restaurant with flavourful Burmese food. We came here a couple of times and have not been disappointed. Highly recommend samusa soup, jasmine tea and chilli basil chicken with coconut View all feedback.
What Rachel Zemser doesn't like about Mingalaba:
The food was great but portions are so much smaller than they used to be, AND more expensive. They have kind of taken advantage of the so called inflation. Order more than you think you will need, you will still eat it all. View all feedback.
Tea leaf portions are much smaller. Not what it used to be. Enough for two people will cost 38 dollars.
Samosas and paratha first dishes were very good. Samosas were large and not over oily. House noodles was middling. Curries and basil pork were very good. Tea salad was tasty but a small portion. Fairly expensive with the mandatory service charges. Service is uneven quality. Outdoor eating area can be very noisy with the hard, low ceiling and the car traffic very close by.
Great service and made our friends' bday dinner very special. The wait is pretty long on a weekend night. Tea leaf salad is a must. Noodles and curry chicken were crowd favorites. Lamb curry was a bit tough to chew? Some mando and indian fusion dishes were also worth a try paratha was a good shareable appetizer. I'm surprised to see they have sake, beer, AND wine.

They were super busy. We chose to sit outside. Great food and service
