Upon our arrival, Juan made excellent suggestions for times for our tours! We got to see many monkeys on our early boat tour. All the staff were helpful, the rooms were clean, and the food was good. Be sure to ask questions to get the necessary details.

The grounds are gorgeous an... read more Gamboa Rainforest Resort is such a treat! It is impossible to believe it was only 45 minutes from Panama City but felt a world away. The grounds are gorgeous and well kept. Tropical and lush. Our room overlooking the river was large and clean with a balcony and hammock! Great big bathroom. All staff was very, very friendly. We did a tour of the sloth sanctuary which was wonderful as well as the Panama Canal and river. Saw so much wildlife and met lots of nice people. The pool was huge and such a nice respite from the heat. Would definitely recommend this resort!

Works best on catering to a mass market with one size fits all. Nice facility and spacious clean rooms. Lovely location. Very close to canal! Isolated from other businesses. Food is OK and is a buffet. About an hour from city.
