One of the nicest pubs we have ever been in the staff are fabulous and the food is unreal
Definitely a must visit. Reserve a table if you're planning to be here on a public holiday or weekend as it can be difficult to get a table. Had a wonderful and amazing roast chicken and bangers and mash. Service was impressive and the ambience was wonderful!
I was pleasantly surprised. The food usually takes a little while, but it's worth it, and the service is very friendly. But if there's one downside, it's the door—wow! I sat almost at the entrance and I think I got up seven or eight times to close it because it wouldn't close automatically, and water and wind were getting in, which was quite uncomfortable. Opening and closing it is rather awkward and unintuitive; you practically have to slam it shut, and you hear that every five minutes. It's not pleasant.
