Went to sult or most commonly known as the college bar for the su elections. I ordered 2 fosters for my friend and I, we were served by a member of bar staff who I can’t name because she wasn’t wearing a name tag. From the start she was rude and unfriendly. Excellent food with friendly service. Would definitely recommend the butter chicken curry.
Sult has recently updated their menu and now offers Mammy dinners starting at around €8, which is a great deal. Their chicken burger, made with freshly grilled chicken, is, in my opinion, the best chicken burger in Galway at the moment, and it comes with chips for just €10. You won't find a better combination of quality and price anywhere else in Galway.
When the sun is shining, dining outdoors at this restaurant is a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is lovely and the service is quick.
Great bar and cafe in the campus
In my opinion this is the best place to get a cappuccino in town. It is affordable, drinks are good and it has a nice patio by the river. We visited Sult almost daily while staying at the university residence.
