Buzzing bar, with a great ambiance. Visit with 14 guys on stag do, the floor staff serving were amazing a credit to Monroes made it very easy for us, all of eat here everyone enjoyed commented how good the food was especially the pizzas Irish stew. Live music was great two bands had every one up dancing, bar staff busy professional even the door staff were a good laugh, thanks monroes
Amazing bar. live music was fantastic. atmosphere was electric and the locals are all so friendly. brilliant night. great staff we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. it’s a must visit if you like live music
Popped in for lunch with work colleagues after and was looking forward to it as I hadn’t eaten here before.I ordered the falafel Burger and when it came and I took a bite it was a vegetarian burger ..mashed potato, peas and corn …not a chick peas to be seen. Asked the waitress if she had made a mistake “ no this is our falafel burger “ she replied. I did 2 years professional cookery in Gmit and I know the difference between a veggie burger and a falafel..but Monroes don’t. Didn’t fancy waiting for the vegetarian burger in the hope of getting the falafel one so I just had a coffee.. Never again.
Called in for a few pints on a Sunday afternoon during our trip to Galway, the bar was busy but service was quick and the staff were very friendly. Really good pint of stout and great atmosphere.
