Contribute FeedbackMonroe's in Galway offers a mixed bag of experiences based on customer reviews. Negative feedback highlights issues with billing accuracy, food quality, and rude staff, resulting in some diners vowing never to return. On the flip side, positive reviews praise the delicious wings, enjoyable breakfast options, attentive staff, and live music ambiance. The central location, diverse menu, and efficient service are also highlighted as strong points. Overall, Monroe's seems to cater to a variety of tastes and preferences, but inconsistent service and quality may leave some patrons hesitant to revisit.
I've been through this pub, and I've been drawn from the outside to the crazy atmosphere. concert in the evening, we listened and danced on regattas of Irish songs very well known with a band that set fire ( accordion, guitar, drums). We can't be conquered and spend an unforgettable evening. If he existed only at home!
It's a beautiful place to have a nice evening, live music of color atmosphere, delicious fresh beer of different varieties. Wednesdays come to dance clubs of salsa, bahata and kisomba.
The barman is an absolute gem. he worked for years in nyc and nycs loss is galways gain.
All I can say is thank you! My first time in Galway (here for a gig) and I was made to feel so welcomed by Bert and his team, such a friendly pub, definitely coming back to Galway especially to visit this gem of a place. Thank you all for making me feel so welcomed
Always lovely atmosphere, although very crowded with tourists. Music is nice. Pizza smells nicer than it tastes (very dry and lacking flavour), but everything else is great. The stage upstairs is quite good for concerts, very intimate and with a good few spots to sit down abd get a pint.
