The food was delicious; however, we were charged an 18% gratuity for five people, despite the service not being very welcoming. The steak was overcooked and tough, even though we requested it to be medium well. I had heard so many positive reviews about this place, but my experience was disappointing. I felt like I was bothering the staff by being there, except for one friendly lady with gray hair. I hope for a better experience next time, but I won’t be returning anytime soon.
The chicken fajitas were outstanding! The service was top-notch as well. I will definitely return in the future.
Food was good,staff was unfriendly this place needs customer service training,my granddaughter spilled her drink on floor the lady that sat us down just place napkins on table and later ,I told her sorry to put you to work my daughter say don't say anything and the lady say what did you say.i asked to talk to manager she says I'm that manager,I asked for owner she says I'm the owner she told us if you don't like it there's the door.

One of the best places we like to eat and people are so friendly.
Incredibly delicious! This is the best spot in Gallup for authentic Mexican cuisine. It surpasses Jerry's Café and Genero's by a long shot. I highly recommend David's to everyone. The place is clean and welcoming, and the food—along with their chili—is outstanding!

We stopped at this restaurant on a whim while heading to Albuquerque, and I'm so glad we did! We tried the Navajo tacos and the homemade tamales with red chili sauce, and both dishes were absolutely fantastic and authentic. The staff was friendly, and the bathroom was exceptionally clean (note that it's for paying customers only). I highly recommend this place!
