The food was pretty dry, I was not too happy with the taste! The service was amazing, but the young lady behind the counter was rude! They also charged $1 for a small togo container for salsa. $1 for a togo box... that is not service to your customers if your charging for togo containers! I left with such disappointment of where I decided to eat and to spend my hard earn money Food: 2
Amazing food ! New Mexican cuisine at its finest !!!!!!! I highly recommend David’s breakfast burrito with green Chile! It’s an automatic classic ! Amazing taste and service for a low price !!! Upon entering the restaurant for breakfast, we were greeted by a waitress how she greeted my mother in law and I had me feeling like a kid again. Her voice soft and welcoming us both we felt at home waiting to be served by mom only a mother 's love can have u feeling welcomed to breakfast table...thank you for the delicious breakfast and for making g our day!!! Incredibly delicious! This is the best spot in Gallup for authentic Mexican cuisine. It surpasses Jerry's Café and Genero's by a long shot. I highly recommend David's to everyone. The place is clean and welcoming, and the food—along with their chili—is outstanding!

We stopped at this restaurant on a whim while heading to Albuquerque, and I'm so glad we did! We tried the Navajo tacos and the homemade tamales with red chili sauce, and both dishes were absolutely fantastic and authentic. The staff was friendly, and the bathroom was exceptionally clean (note that it's for paying customers only). I highly recommend this place!
