Asian Buffet - Galloway
Asian Buffet
Description
This bustling buffet offers a vast array of Asian and American cuisine at reasonable prices, drawing crowds with its variety and friendly staff. While the cleanliness of the kitchen and enticing dishes like prime rib and crab legs are highlights, concerns over food safety and quality have surfaced. Patrons noted stale dishes and frequent complaints about the freshness of food items. Despite the lively atmosphere and appealing decor, for some diners, the experience fell short, leaving them unsatisfied and questioning their choice to return. Overall, it promises a vibrant setting but may lack in culinary execution.
Feedback
The restaurant offers amazing Asian and American cuisine. The kitchen is incredibly clean, giving the customer a sense of confidence in the food being served. The restroom area with marble and tiled finishes resembles a high-end hotel. Customers can enjoy peeling and eating shrimp at the bar next to the sushi. On weekends, they offer prime rib and crab legs. I personally dine here for lunch about four times a month. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a short individual with dark hair named Steve, who is the owner and manager. Let him know Dave recommended you. He will understand. Also, request to sit near the food to curb your hunger. The average cost for a meal with drinks is around $7.00.
We were seated at the restaurant and noticed a bug on the wall after only 5 minutes. The manager came over, knocked it off, and stepped on it with his bare feet before carrying on with a smile, saying it was no big deal. At that point, we lost our appetite but still had to pay the full bill, which included an extra charge for our 11-month-old baby who had only eaten a few spoonfuls of pudding.
The lunch buffet offers a variety of options at reasonable prices. The buffet is well-maintained and very clean, with delicious and easily accessible food options including six flavors of ice cream. The staff is friendly and attentive, taking good care of their tables.
It was really cute! There are fish at the entrance which made me day. The food was really good I actually was full. The lemonade was also really good. Though it was very packed I didn't mind. (This was m first time going I went with my family)
For a buffet at this time of this pandemic, the food is great, but this restaurant is wide open. No capacity limit and it gets pretty packed fast. There are no dividers, no spacing. They want all the money without the concerns of safety. The servers wear gloves, but the gloves are not changed as they fill and refill drinks, wipe down tables, clear people's plates, and sweep up the floors. No GLOVES ARE CHANGED!!! ? Either this restaurant is unaware of the situation we are in or just simply don't care. ?
