Sonic Drive-In - Gallatin
Sonic Drive-In
Description
At this drive-in restaurant, patrons experience a mix of delightful flavors and friendly service, yet inconsistencies in food preparation and customer service are noted. While fresh, tasty dishes shine during peak times, some meals fall short, appearing burnt or undercooked. The ambiance offers a nostalgic charm, though occasional staffing shortages can lead to frustration. Despite these hiccups, many diners appreciate the team's effort and quality. With a diverse menu and a commitment to customer satisfaction, there’s a shared hope for improved service and consistency, making it a promising spot for both casual bites and drinks.

This is the worst Sonic location in Gallatin. My orders are consistently wrong, and it appears there is no dress code in place. I witnessed an employee delivering food to customers in a Sonic shirt that was two sizes too small, leaving her stomach exposed as the shirt barely covered her bra. This is highly unprofessional, especially considering she was an adult, not a teenager.
Our favorite items at Sonic are their frozen drinks. Their app allows you to order and pay straight from your phone. Service is always prompt and courteous.
I frequent this restaurant nearly every night with my daughter, and this evening we arrived around 8:35 PM, roughly 30 minutes to an hour before closing. After I had seated my daughter at the table, the staff approached us to let us know that they were closing.
Terrible customer service, employees were rude on the speaker box and ignored me when I asked for help. I noticed sonic now has a tip option when you pay with your card. Here's my tip, have common courtesy, make more money.
On Saturday, August 5, around 12:50 PM, I ordered a chicken sandwich combo and a small blast. The sandwich was missing both tomato and pickle, was overly peppery, and the blast had a chemical taste. It only had a few brownie pieces and chocolate flakes on top, while the rest was just plain ice cream. To make matters worse, the total came to $14.95. I think I’ll choose to drive a little further for better dining experiences from now on.
