Pilgrimme - GALIANO

Best place to eat at Galiano Island. It should have a Michelin Star.

Loved our evening at Pilgrimme. The food was delightful, well curated plates of hyper local flavors. We certainly did not leave hungry nor wanting. The service was fantastic and exactly as expected for a restaurant such as this. If you get the opportunity I would absolutely suggest going.

Great atmosphere, not so great food (especially at this price point). Genuinely unsure how this restaurant has gotten so many good ratings. Save your money and go somewhere else! Unless food is not your primary concern. Mismatched dishes and each of them were overpowering and not balanced. Trying too hard to give a fine dining experience and unfortunately missed hard. Typically, these sort of experiences should tell a story through the various courses, but there was nothing here as nothing made sense.

If you're on Galiano Island and if you get the chance to get a table at Pilgrimme do it! The 12 course dinner was amazing! The wine and cider pairing an absolute most do! Pilgrimme is this hidden log cabin in the woods but it really deserves a Michelin star!
