The Country Kitchen - GALENA

I loved the small town feel and friendly owners. I felt like I was extended family. The food was homemade and plan to go back for the bread pudding and homemade French Toast ice cream!

Great food! Loved the fresh deep fried oysters, crab cake and crab soup! All around great food, service and prices. My new favor place to eat.

Well I would like to start by saying the staff was all very nice. The food was delicious. If you're craving a crab cake sandwich this is by far the best! The dessert was very good and the ice cream was a rich homemade vanilla bean. We will definitely be going back!

12/3/2016 This tiny little place is a GEM. A MUST if you are in or near Galena and hungry. The servings are HUGE. Stopped here for lunch on the recommendation of a friend, and was NOT disappointed. All the tables were filled when we arrived, so we sat at the counter, and the waitress said a table was getting ready to clear, and she would move us when they did. Kristen, our waitress, was PHENOMENAL. Friendly, so kind, and very efficient. We ordered the crab cake sandwich and cups of the cream of crab soup. I am Maryland born and raised, and have never had cream of crab as delicious as this. There was so much crab meat in the soup LUMPS of crab meat. The crab cake was HUGE, and is all back fin. No filler. If I didn't live in Florida I'd be dining there quite often!
