A great experience! Waitress was very kind. $11.95 for 3 rolls! It came with miso, too--Pretty good deal. Will visit again.

Nishiki is a special restaurant to me. The first time I stopped by was on a miserably cold, rainy day. I just had a rough move to the area, and some comfort food I didn't have prep was about all I wanted. Spotting a place serving ramen was enough for me to shuffle in on auto-pilot. Ramen is good while its broth lacked some depth. I wished chashu had more flavor. All in all it was good ramen for DMV area. The aged tofu could been better if it’s paired with different sauce; it was nicely fried but mild sauce didn’t work for me.

Not well done chef needs lessons to improve flavor and balance to the ramen. My tips to the restaurant to at least meet the bare minimum get rid of those bamboo shoots or use different ones with a better flavor (tasted too much like the tin can they come in). Cook broccoli so it is tender and not raw. Learn how to cook ramen noodles so it’s not stuck in big clumps.
