While the food w... read more I’ve gone to basils a few times since I moved here and every time the experience varies. Last evening I DoorDashed some items for me and my GF. While the food was good, I feel like the customer service needs work. We ordered about $30 worth of food and there was no tipping option available as I normally see on most restaurant pickups. I tried explaining to the lady upfront that the DoorDash delivery currently gives no option for tipping at the restaurant. She didn’t want to hear it, saying ”No, You already placed order.” I then tried explaining again that your store currently has no tipping option enabled and you probably have to adjust that. Again, she wrote me off, handed me our food and as I was walking out the door, condescendingly said “Have fun.”I completely understand wanting to be tipped for $30 worth of food but when I offered to give her a tip through another means, she didn’t want it. So yes, I will say the food is quality but you will get some lip from the managers if you try to correct them on how their Store on DoorDash currently does not enable customers to tip.

Which we didn't mind because usually the pizza is beautiful and hot and fr... read more We ordered 3 x-large pizza and 20 wings. First we waited almost 2 hours for delivery. Which we didn't mind because usually the pizza is beautiful and hot and fresh. But on this occasion my pizza came 2 hours late and my 3 pizzas looked like they had been through a war. They were smashed and looked poorly boxed. So either the driver was careless or the store sent me 3 messy pizzas.
