Pizza It Ciamparini Corrado

We came across this gem of a pizzeria by chance. Unfortunately it was closing, but the wonderful chef was kind enough to welcome us. He made a chef 's choice pizza with gorgonzola, truffles, pancetta, olives, and salami. I have to tell you that we almost died. It was so amazing and delicious. The crust was crispy and perfect. In a nutshell, the pizza and the simple dining experience were memorable. What a gentleman for helping out 2 tourists who were in need of a bite to eat. This is a must have if you 're in the area.

We had takeaway pizza here and it was truly excellent although there is a small seating area that you could eat in just opposite the restaurant if you prefer. We got delightful cheery service and a waiting time of 20 minutes from order (just the correct amount of time to take a beer at the nearby Whiskey a Go Go Bar). The pizzas were made from scratch on the premises and cooked in a traditional wood burning oven. Fantastic light and thin crusts and tasty generous toppings. They can even cope with more unusual orders like my own pizza senza il formaggio (I have a cheese intolerance). All in all great pizza in next to no time for a bargain price.

Great little spot for pizza. Reasonable prices and decent outdoor seating makes this perfect for the warm Tuscan nights. The owner/chef is extremely friendly and speaks excellent English. He prioritized the pizza for the kids and got the rest of our order out fairly quickly as well. He has a lot of choices for pizza with or without tomato sauce. He also has your basic drink selection. At €6 for most pizzas this is one of the best deals in Gaiole.

Fantastic pizzeria, felt like an authentic Italian experience. owner was friendly and helpful and we ate in the shaded courtyard above the street. very cheap prices for high quality pizza, beer and soft drinks. many locals eating here were a good sign. it is worth driving to gaiole.
