Great family owned business. Pasquale (the owner) looked after us very well and worked over-time with patience to break down the language barriers. Looked after me and my girlfriend who are both vegetarians the cacio e pepe and ravioli, with a matching wine recommended...by Pasquale, were delicious. The way we imagined Italy to be. a pleasant evening in the small center of gaiole in chianti, where I left my heart. we chose this restaurant thinking there were hamburgers, but unfortunately they don't make any sandwiches. we waited minutes before someone came to expose the menu and take the order. food however good, friendly staff. excellent sausage. the relatively adequate price, but too wait! Super friendly and helpful, super good dishes especially the pici cacio and pepper. We went to lunch and went back to dinner.
We have a fiorentina steak and some noodles with truffle and everything was delicious. the meat was well cooked and the service was great. the ambiente was also very beautiful. the waitress spoke several languages.
