The Bakery Mill - Gainesville

I was lucky to enjoy Bakery Mill for almost 15 years. While I don't think they offer more, our wedding cake was made here and I still think about how delicious and beautiful (and cheap! the cake was. I can't say enough nice things about this local business. Most importantly, the food is delicious. Portions are large and affordable. The staff works hard and is friendly. And the muffins are ridiculous. Try something if it's a first visit. The pancakes are particularly good with an excellent, crispy exterior and fluffy interior. In all my times that eat here, I never had a less than great experience. On a rare occasion an error is made, the staff has immediately fixed it without any problems. I don't think there's a better place for breakfast or lunch in Gainesville. To the staff of Bakery Mill, thank you.

So delicious. I prefer the muffins (which are huge, I eat only half at a time when that) or a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. My husband says her cookies and Gravy are fantastic. They have a decent variety, especially so small. Staff are all nice and attentive, and always cuddling. The atmosphere is like a diner, but not so loud (depending on how many males are there). It can be busy so order in advance if you do not plan to eat there, or you only have a certain muffin.

It was good food. I remember First Watch in Ocala. The pancakes and cookies of the Bakery mill have a completely different taste. You can say it's fresh. Bacon was crispy and delicious. I wasn't overly impressed by the muffins.

Coffee was fresh, hot and tasteful! Pancake was fluffy. Biscuit and engraving were amazingly south. Bacon was perfectly cooked (not undercooked or over crispy). French toast had perfect cinnamon taste and texture. Muffins were moist and delicious. Most importantly, the service was fun, warm and friendly! Our server and the young man at the counter were a pleasure to chat with how they looked after us. The food came out in minutes. Absolute jewel of a fund! Will definitely be back and highly recommended!

One of our favorite breakfast/lunch places in Gainesville! Generous portions at reasonable price and friendly staff. Their muffins are the best we?ve had in Gainesville. We noticed that many people stopped by the restaurant just to buy the muffins. We also recommend classic reuben.
