Whenever I’m near... read more If you opt for a plated breakfast instead of a taco or sandwich, you’ll be treated to a generous serving of refried beans, potatoes, or rice. Whenever I’m near Haydee’s, I make it a point to stop in, as they truly deserve my business. The fresh handmade tortillas are a delightful treat, and I could easily enjoy them as a meal on their own. The red salsa on the table has a nice kick along with a great garlic flavor, while the green salsa complements beef dishes beautifully and is milder compared to the red. The staff are amazing—extremely friendly and attentive, ensuring you’re well taken care of during your visit. Even if you’re just grabbing takeout, they are warm and engaging. The restaurant maintains cleanliness and order, even during busy times, while still providing excellent service to diners. The only downside is the parking situation; it can be a bit tight, and finding a spot can be challenging during peak hours. Just be mindful of when you visit to avoid the crowds and make it easier to find parking. If you’re in the area and appreciate authentic home-cooked Mexican food, I can’t recommend this place enough!
