The other dishes... read more The restaurant isn't very big. The cuisine is seafood, with a few local dishes. The starter was really good, perhaps the best in Gaeta for me. The other dishes were average, but we didn't try the starters. The service could be improved. The red shrimp tartare had the fruit on top that was still frozen. Overall, it's worth a visit.

The creative appetizers deserve special mention: bruschetta with shrimp, fresh fish, and a crisp salad – cleverly presented and delicious. A real highlight was the main course: gnocchi with mussels and shrimp, delicately blended with lemon and pistachios. An exceptional combination that was both light and aromatic. The service and ambiance perfectly complemented the culinary delights. If we visit Gaeta again, we'll definitely return to Mareli!
