What Hortense Lemaire doesn't like about The Kitchen:
The meal I had was barely edible. The bun was so chewy I couldn't finish it. The salad was huge pieces of kale, that I also couldn't eat. The prices are way to high for the type of restaurant it is and it's location. Won't listen to the locals again, they obviously are not traveled enough to know what is good and what is not. I would not dine here again. As a Korean with a well-developed palate for Korean cuisine, I must say that this restaurant is quite average.
The food here was excellent. Our service wasn't great as we were tucked back in the corner and forgotten about, even when we flagged them down it took asking 4 times before we were able to get water.
I enjoyed a delicious veggie sandwich with fries. Great service, live music and good food. The prices were quite reasonable as well.
