I visited this restaurant today after searching for a place to go on a rainy Saturday. It's a great spot with a good farm shop offering reasonable prices. The cafe had friendly and polite staff and the food and drinks were also very reasonably priced. Both my companion and I ordered quiche and coffee, which were of high quality and generous portions. We will definitely be returning.
A bowl of porridge may seem like a humble dish, but it can be tricky to make it just right for everyone. Saswick Restaurant has truly mastered it in my opinion! The texture and creaminess are spot on, and the addition of mixed seeds, cranberries, and honey gives it a delightful floral flavor. This bowl of comfort was exactly what I needed today. Thank you, chef!
We had not visited this restaurant before, but it was definitely worth checking out. The staff was welcoming and the breakfast was outstanding. The farm shop had a wide variety of offerings, and the staff there were also friendly and attentive. We have already suggested this place to others and we will definitely return in the future.
Booked for a late mother's day treating with my mother, sister and oma, booked days before a request on her website, specified that we wanted to go afternoon. came to the day of our booking and we are told that we obviously did not book for...their afternoons when it was what we specified and looked back to the email, they had also confirmed. already a bit disappointed we just went with the regular menu, I ordered the minute steak melt, it was okay, brot was soggy, I couldn't eat it without cute, but was okay, my mom and sister had a club sandwich and said it was again just okay, bland and overly salty. no complaining of my grandmother who had suppe and a grilled sandwich. the service was overly slow, our sandwiches came before our drinks, we also wanted to take a cake that took some minutes to put cake in a box. while we did not visit the lack of communication about booking and the confusion this caused not our first visit, this time our visit was corrupted some what. would they think before we visit again.
