So today we did, only wish we had tried it sooner.... read more It not far from where we live in cottam and have passed it a few times and always said we should try it out. So today we did, only wish we had tried it sooner. There was a great atmosphere as we walked in and the service was even better. The whole team worked well toghter taking orders bringing drinks over and the meals etc, nothing was too much for them. We had 3 children with us and rather then having a separate children's menu, they chose off the main menu and they would get a child size portion of the meal. This meant there was far more choice for the kids then the normal nuggets, fish fingers and pizza etc. The food was really good and well presented. Certainly did not expect the level of service or quality of food from a local pub as we got. Would highly recommend a visit, we will be back soon.

Service is excellent all staff are very attentive and polite and work really hard. Quality of food is excellent, we will return.

My husban... read more After being recommended the Hand Dagger restaurant, we decided to have lunch there. I ordered a steak burger with crispy fries and delicious coleslaw. My husband opted for the baby ribs and thoroughly enjoyed them, saying they were top-notch. Overall, we had no complaints and plan to revisit. The only downside was that it was quite cold inside, forcing us to keep our coats on.

We both ordered the fish and chips, and both dishes were perfectly cooked. The fish was of great quality and the chips were clearly homemade. I highly recommend this restaurant.
