The Grapes - Fylde
The Grapes
Description
The Grapes restaurant presents a mixed bag of experiences that entices and frustrates its patrons. While many recently enjoyed delightful meals complemented by attentive service and a cozy atmosphere, others reported significant service failures and lackluster food quality. Complaints included disorganized staff, an unappealing reduced menu, and several dishes that missed the mark. However, positive accounts highlight friendly staff interactions and satisfying meals, indicating potential for growth. While the charming setting remains a draw, consistency in food and service is essential for The Grapes to rejuvenate its reputation fully. Guests are left with cautious optimism for future visits.

Lovely service but poor food. The starters were dry and tasteless. The mushroom and ale pie was foul- a strange sauce like fabric conditioner. Tasteless gammon and burnt lasagne. Lovely setting and staff but poor food.
We wandered here whilst staying close by, intending to have a quick drink but ended up having a sharing board (which was delicious). The staff were attentive and friendly and the atmosphere great.
Pleasantly surprised and pleased. Having not visited for over 12 months the lunch was really good and hot. The staff were very friendly and the roaring fire on a cold day was really welcome! Well worth a visit.
We really enjoy the upgraded version of The Grapes and have been there about four times over Christmas. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Noise level: Moderate noise Group size: 2 people, 3-4 people, 5-8 people Wait time: No wait Seating type: Indoor dining area, Bar area
