When we complaine... read more We waited 40 minutes for our food to arrive, and when it finally did, the vegetables were cold, the beef was tough, and the chicken was chewy. When we complained, we were only offered a fresh dish of vegetables, with no apology or offer of a refund. We will never be visiting this restaurant again.

Howeve... read more The food at this restaurant was absolutely terrible! I visited today with friends and had previously enjoyed a delicious, homemade meal at **** and bull. However, this time I was incredibly disappointed with the dry, chewy, fatty meat that was accompanied by a watery packet sauce. The dish also included undercooked green beans and a small handful of frozen chips. When we expressed our dissatisfaction to the waitress, she said she would pass on our feedback to the chef. Another waitress also heard our complaints but there was no offer to speak to the manager or any further action taken by the kitchen. I can no longer recommend this place.

My partner and I ordered some f... read more Visited this pub which is attached to the hotel we were staying at. The bar staff were very friendly and helpful from the start. My partner and I ordered some food and for the first time in many, many years, we had to send it a back and ask for a refund. The food was so cold it was just inedible. We are not ones to make a fuss, so we quietly brought it to the attention of the waiting staff who acted quickly and efficiently without any hesitation to deal with this by apologising, giving us a full refund and offering us a free drink. It was a shame because the food did look lovely and well presented and looking at a lot of the other reviews about this place, it does seem out of character.
