Visited this pub which is attached to the hotel we were staying at. The bar staff were very friendly and helpful from the start. My partner and I ordered some food and for the first time in many, many years, we had to send it a back and ask for a refund. The food was so cold it was just inedible. We are not ones to make a fuss, so we quietly brought it to the attention of the waiting staff who acted quickly and efficiently without any hesitation to deal with this by apologising, giving us a full refund and offering us a free drink. It was a shame because the food did look lovely and well presented and looking at a lot of the other reviews about this place, it does seem out of character.

Went here for my birthday with 11 members of my family with various ages from 6 to 72. We were given a lovely room just for us, which was amazing. The food was FANTASTIC. The choices were unbelievable and everyone was pleased with whatever they had. The burger stacks are out of this world. The Sunday roast was perfect, nice to see vegetables without peas. The portions were huge and apologises from various members of my family for not having empty plates. The prices are good too. Anyway to finish off, the staff were so polite and the manager was very friendly, even helping out the waiters and waitresses which is not seen very often. Thank you to you all and we will be back, probably as individuals, families or as a couple

Came on a Sunday with family the food was really nice, couldn't fault the servers was busy will definitely be coming again.
