Holidays Fico D'india Amalficoast

We came upon Fico d’India almost by accident and it was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had—-and we have traveled a fair bit. The owner came by several times to check on us—-this is a family business that has now been in operation for 3 generations. The views from the dining room were breathtaking. The service was impeccable—-attentive without being intrusive. The meal was leisurely—but clearly paced as to our mood. I have a rating of average for speed as there was not a “perfectly paced gradual food service with never any pressure to get going” option. The quality of the food itself was superb. The food and wine recommendations were spot on. The price point was amazingly affordable. It’s definitely worth the drive.

Amazing food, top service, super location. Appetizers, first and second plates were extraordinary. The desserts were very good, but not at the same high level like the other food. In total: 10 points, strongly recommended!
