This place must be popular. We went Sunday for lunch and some adult beverages and weren’t disappointed. We order fried pickles for an app. My son got the kid’s cheeseburger (which looked like an adult cheeseburger . My wife got a bacon and blue cheese salad and I got the chicken strips (I know, I’m a child. Apparently you can get a beer as a side!?! . The food was good. The service was okay. My husband had to wait a lot longer on his food than everyone at the table and there was little to no communication about why until after they brought his meal out. The dining experience has always been enjoyable. The waitstaff were satisfactory. It's a reliable local restaurant.
The Aviator is excellent! We had a large party, which surprisingly kept growing, but our server, Patrick, was fantastic. He was very attentive and patient, managing our numerous orders without any issues. The food was delicious, and the drinks kept coming! I highly recommend this place to everyone.
Ideal for outdoor dining on a lovely day. I would definitely recommend it!

My wife and I were looking for a low key place for date night and we decided to head to one of the 100+ breweries that surround Raleigh many of which have attached taprooms restaurants. Aviator Brewing is a wonderful bar/pub style location with about 20 or so of their own brews on tap. The food was pretty darn good for bar food and our server, Micky, was engaging and quite honest in her assessment of the menu offerings (I always ask for three or four recommendations before ordering). With live music and a boisterous bar scene, it can get quite loud in the main area however, there is quieter seating available elsewhere in the location. We 'll definitely be back...
